About – This compact keypad is a single door access control system. All of the electronics are within the housing of the keypad.
Installation – The compact keypad has two wires which connect to the lock and two wires which connect to the power supply. There are two additional wires for connection to an exit button if required. The cable exits from the center-back of the keypad making drilling and mounting easy and accurate. All settings and codes are programmed via the keypad using the master code. The K series keypads have two wires which can connect to a sounder, to act as a doorbell when the ‘bell’ key is pressed.
Operation – Access is granted if a valid code is entered. Codes can be changed via the keypad using the master code.
